Adriatik grew up in Deçan, on the Kosovo side of the Accursed Mountains. More than twelve years of guiding have taken him across the trails and communities that make this region his home.
That experience shapes Wilderness Balkans: thoughtful routes, direct relationships with local hosts and practical help from people who know the terrain.
Hospitality is part of his own family story, too. Together with his mother and brother, Adriatik helps run Gacaferi Guest House in the mountains above Deçan.
